Yup. That's me. On the leading edge of digital technology. Sort of.
I'm actually describing my tech-genius husband, The Drew.
Thanks to his computer wizardry my website address: www.jodicarmichael.com now magically transfers you here to my blog.
Coincidentally, my blog is my website. For now. One day soon, The Drew is going to share his knowledge and guide me through creating my own site.
As long as I don't need an advanced degree in HTML, I'm good to go.
There needs to be more "Drew's" in the world. Our son's are pretty tech advanced.

I totally agree. A Drew is an invaluable asset. Oh, and wonderful, loving husband, too. (Did I mention he vacuums?)

Cute post, Jodi. I have one of those tech-savy guys living with me, too. His name is Dave though. Unfortunately I did something silly last year and bought myself a MAC. The DAVE doesn't know a whole lot about THOSE machines. Today I'm really stuck because I lost all my YA rewrites in WORD. Suddenly the entire document disappeared and all I had were HTML codes and smidges of other WORD documents. Freaked. Me. Out. Thank God I backed up last night.
ReplyDeleteWe creative ladies are really stepping out of our comfort zones, aren't we? Have you tried to vlog yet? Do it. Soon. Ha! (It's your challenge from me.)
Hope you're doing well.
Michelle
Not a MAC! The Drew does not, and never will support anything Apple. Must be some techy pact they take in college.
DeleteAnd Vlogging? You are now blowing my mind. I'll have to Google that to figure out what it is.
The Drew has saved many a creative meltdown and recovered so many lost files, that I am a mess without him.
Hope all is well with you too, Michelle.
Wish I had a Drew.
