Three, two, one...now blog.

I've been thinking about blogging for a few years, always daunted by the time it would take away from the few free hours I have to write. But a wise friend told me...okay it was my husband, that if you really want something to happen you'll find the time. True. And here I am. Finally a blogger.

I was excited by new blogger status, so I shared this with my seven year old. The whole mess went down something like this:

"Mommy's a blogger, sweetie," I say, my face in super-grin mode.
"Wahhhhhh!"  She shrieks, her lips curl up at the corners, and her hands fly to hide her face.

I, the good mother, sense something's amiss.

"What's wrong, honey?" I ask. I reach to pull her in for a mommy hug, which she dodges with ninja-like speed.
"I don't want you to be a booger!" She shouts.

So, there you go, just when you get yourself all pumped up, thinking you're some sort of special, "I can do it all blogging mother", really you're only moments away from becoming a booger.

I'll blog again, when we're out of booger-crisis mode.

P.S. We're out of Gold Fish crackers.
